About Ridgework

Ridgework makes backpacks for people whose day has two halves.

Most carry falls into one of two camps. Office bags that look right in a meeting and fall apart on a trail. Outdoor packs that carry well all day and look out of place anywhere with a reception desk. We think that split is a false one, because most people's days are not split that way either. You commute, you work, and then some evenings and weekends you are outside.

So the range is built around that overlap: a padded laptop compartment and a trolley strap on one side, breathable back panels, bottle pockets and reflective detail on the other. Clean enough for the office, built for the walk home the long way.

How we work

Ridgework designs and specifies its range, then sources it through established manufacturing partners in Asia. We are not a factory and we do not claim to be one. What we do is choose the makers, set the specification, and stand behind what we sell with a 30-day return policy and a 180-day limited warranty.

Every product page carries the measurements the maker publishes: capacity in litres, dimensions in centimetres and inches, empty weight, laptop fit and what the fabric's water resistance actually is. Where a maker does not publish a figure, we say so rather than estimating one.
